1988 Mazda 323 GTX

2nd owner. Always wanted a GTX and found a prime, unmolested example while in professional school. Just put it back on the road this year after an extensive freshening. Pedders struts, 375F/300R ground control coilover, camber bolts, new performance pads, shifter bushings, J-intake pipe, custom SS exhaust cat-back, Momo steering wheel, manual boost control, gauge, hankook z2000r-comp tires on newly restored stock rims…now i just have to change timing belt and check the keyway on the crank and see if that corrects the off boost stumble. long live the GTX…let’s not see every example of the breed disappear!

Nice ride! Check your valve cover gaskets too. When those go bad, oil gets trapped down the spark plug well causing misfires at low rpm's

I've still never seen this thing in action. You need to have it not-broken next time I'm in town.
