Purchased this mildly massaged NA about a year ago. Previous life as dedicated AutoX’er with 200k on chassis, second engine, aluminum rad, 3rd clutch, poly bushings throughout, sport springs, adjustable shock/struts, decent soft top, and approximately one or two washes in 10+ years. New tires, exhaust hanger bushings, O2 sensor, and much cleaning of the EGR valve/passageway made the car pass CA smog and a fantastic fun DD and canvas for the next project. This past summer, I sold my Datsun Roadster back to its previous owner, just a couple of weeks after I finished the first version of the NA’s livery. Based upon a model of a Roadster I have had for years, I matched and scaled up the model’s livery using my classroom’s vinyl plotter. I haven’t met Masaki Ohmura, who is owner of the Datsun yet, but we have shared pictures on social media.
