My newest project car, it has the 2tc 1.6 4 cly. Im just getting it running well, so next comes some performance parts. Most everything is stock, the only thing modified so far is the ride height. I have ran it in two pca autocross events and had a blast. Im looking to attend many more. Next to come is: Custom coilovers Rear sway bar Race bucket and harness and webber 34/36

Very cool. I've spent quite a bit of time behind the wheel of an '80 Liftback. Fun car.
I had one of those it was an SR5. I ended up pulling the motor out for my stationwagon. You can't beat cheap light, rear wheel drive toyotas!
I know it's been 2 years since anyone posted here, but I'm dying for some updates (if there are any). I'm about to pick one of these up myself...
I am picking up a 77 liftback SR5 tomorrow. Looking forward to the ownership experience of a model I know very little about.
