The answer: Miata The question: Doesn’t Matter I was tired of driving my lifted XJ Cherokee 80 miles per day, so I was looking for a reliable car that was easy on gas that was fun to drive. My Miata was an Ugly B@stard with lots of issues, but Testors model paint and common sense got her back on the road and lookin’ good (from 10 feet away) in a couple of days. Stock with the exception of the KMC wheels, this car was my first hit of the addiction known as “Miata” She has inspired my future Father-in-Law to buy his own and has directed me towards my 2nd Miata. She introduced me to autocrossing and fed my need for speed. I sold her to my neighbor’s father where she will be a weekend fun machine; a perfect retirement for a magnificant piece of engineering….unless she gets him hooked too.
