We purchased this “cleanish” e30 as a temporary solution while my brother in law borrowed our protege for the year. My wife has since fallen in love with the size, tossability and upright seating postion these cars enjoy. We purchased a rust free ‘89 as a result, and my plan is to modernize it with an engine swap, Z3 steering rack and rebuilt suspension before giving her the keys.
