What transmission did you use? Did you make a front-drive Audi transaxle work? Awesome car! I'd love to see more pictures of the engine/transmission installation.

I used a built up 901 for the first two years, and have since installed an 012 Passat/Boxster transmission with a Boxster cable shift setup. The gearing is better suited to this motor, and it now shifts like a modern car.

Wow! I really want to see a feature on this car in GRM - I want to know more about that 1.8T and Passat gearbox conversion. Nice car!
