That's pretty sweat! How hard was the 302 swap?
Lemons/Chumpcar 83 RX-7 with a 5.0 / T-5 combo. Bought it in December 2010 non running (dead fuel pump) as a stalled father son project. Ran the 24 hours of Lemons Season ender at PBIR on New Years. Went through roughly 11 sets of pads and finished mid pack. Brutal in the straights but had no brakes and no grip with 13 inch all seasons. Stepped it up with T2 RX-7 front brakes and a Junkyard 8.8 Mustang rear and brakes. 17X8 Mustang wheels to open tire selection. Running the 2011 Chumpcar race at Sebring.
Pretty easy to my knowledge. This one was in the car when we got it but is using a grannys speed shop mounting kit. My understanding is that you flip the front subframe bolt on his mounts and the motor fits right in. You would still need to wire it, get a driveshaft made, exhaust routed etc.
