1984 Chevrolet camaro z28

the car has been in my possesion since 1986…. well except for the 6 days it was missing in 2001 getting its guts pulled apart by some lowlife theif. since then it has been waiting patiently for a rebuild. the rebuild started with a 1989 GTA engine and the engine was completed in 2009. unfortunately, my ebay search for a t5 trans ended up getting off course when i saw an add for t-56. well. one thing led to another and i am on track to create an LS1/t-56 based track rat, fully caged and capable of running in NASA’s american iron series…. not that i neccessarily will, but i would have to be an idiot not to realize that anything is possible with my wayward thoughts!

i will keep adding stuff to the photobucket link at "more photos" since i just figured out how to do it. i should have a pic with the engine installed my monday for your enjoyment! then i have to get back to work on the track rat E30 for an HPDE in late october. i need to get it up and running before the end of the year as dont want it to have been sitting for a whole decade!

I had to look at the Camaro, after you mentioned it in the fiata post... do you have a engine for the Camaro project already. I have 97 LT1, if not. I know the plan is LS, and the LT1 is a “stop gap” red headed stepchild, but, just in case...
