Tin-top model from Italy (rear drum brakes!). Bought it with 177k miles in March 2012 and still running strong. In 2013, I swapped in an M52 with ZF trans, lightened flywheel and E28 LSD 3.25 diff, and got it through CA BAR emissions testing. I subsequently swapped in an S52, M3 cluster, mirrors, spindles and twisty sideskirts in 2016. Wow. In August 2017 I just finished a windows-out full repaint in original Calypsorot paint, using BASF Limco Base and Nason Clear. Also converted to full Sport trim, including swapping out gray with black interior.
