Just how quick is the 2025 BMW Z4 M40i on track compared to the Toyota GR Supra?
We took the new Z4 to the Grassroots Motorsports official test track, the Florida International Rally & Motorsport Park (FIRM), to find out.
Need help falling asleep? Looking for some ambiance to liven up your workday?
IMSA has you covered with nearly five hours of the 2025 Rolex 24 At Daytona without any commentary or commercials–just raw, ambient sound.
What’s more challenging than getting one car in and out of the pits as efficiently as possible? Try two cars–and at once.
That’s what Ford Multimatic Motorsports managed to pull off during this year’s Rolex 24 At Daytona.
The next best thing to having the opportunity to drive Mazda’s 600-horsepower GTO-spec RX-7?
Here’s a virtual chance to ride shotgun as the old-school racer takes on the high banks of Daytona during the Rolex 24 at Daytona HSR Classic.
The Radical is built for the track, with several variations that offer a lot of speed for the dollar.
Ryan Lewis, driver coach for Radical Indianapolis, explained what they are, how they drive and which one is right for you.
In case you missed it or just want to watch it again, here’s the seventh-hour incident that collected five cars.
Thankfully, all drivers were later cleared by medical later that night.
(And, despite initial fears, Rexy made it out of the incident unscathed.)
In our recent post about Chevrolet dropping the ZR1 configurator, we wondered aloud how many new C8 owners would take their 1064-horsepower, $175,000 wondercar to the track.
Well, if they don’t, Chevy has certainly showed them it’s capable by sending four Corvette development drivers to crush five different lap records at some of America’s favorite tracks.
C8 engineers Chris Barber, Bill Wise, Aaron Link and Brian Wallace took stock (aside from safety gear) C8 ZR1s to Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen, VIR and Road America and utterly obliterated any production car records previously held at these tracks. Wallace hung five seconds on the Porsche GT3 RSs at Road America, for example, and looking at some of their ties and comparing it to other roadgoing cars is almost unfair.
For more examples, Link’s 1:47.74 at VIR would have only him in second place in the 2021 Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge… behind an LPM3-spec Ligier that ran a 1:47.72. Chris Barber’s 1:22.85 at Road Atlanta would also have only been good enough for second… on a TA2 grid.
That’s astounding performance for any car, let alone one with cruise control, air conditioning and a Bose sound system.
A masterclass in overtaking? Just watch this clip of Kamui Kobayashi from the 2025 IMSA Rolex 24 At Daytona.
In under 15 minutes, Kobayashi piloted the No. 40 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac from 9th place to 1st place following a late-night restart.
How to go faster on track? Watch how the pros drive the course.
Follow along as Earl Bamber, driver of the No. 31 Cadillac Whelen Cadillac VSeries.R, talks us through a lap of Daytona International Speedway.
Terry Fair calls his car “Trigger.” Why? It’s an LS-swapped Ford Mustang time attack car that’s sure to irk some Ford and Chevy fans.
But there’s much more to this build, which competed in our annual Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge presented by Grassroots Motorsports.
