Having spent some time in the Coast Guard as an Engineman I've done a lot of brass polishing in the engine room. But this method of polishing brass applies to aluminum too. After buffing I use a product called Never Dull, works great! BUT theres more! Then I use baby powder on a clean cloth to take the Never Dull residue off. I don't think you can get a better shine.
