The green flag waving over the high banks of Daytona on January 25 won’t just be signaling the start of the iconic 24 Hours of Daytona, it will also be marking a return to endurance racing as part of the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

While many familiar favorites return to the grid in 2025, the new season also brings several new faces, teams and manufacturers across all the classes.

How to get up to speed before the action starts? IMSA has you covered with a 2025 season preview.

I'm a little bummed that the Heart of Racing won't have the Valkyrie ready until Sebring.  I was hoping to see it run at Daytona.  I don't think I'll be able to get to another race until maybe Indy in September.

In reply to wae :

I can't help but hear "Ride of the Valkyries" every time someone mentions the Aston Martin Valkyrie.

I'm eager to see and hear it in person.
