It's "EVSR" btw. You know, like "EV Sports Racer".
"Well-balanced and confidence-inspiring from corner entry to exit" is how Max Gourly describes his 400-horsepower 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STI. Is a well-handling, all-wheel-drive track car the ticket to being the fastest in and out of Virginia internal Raceway's many corners?
Our Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge—our annual no-holds-barred track competition—scheduled for July 31 at Virginia International Raceway is nearly here.
If you've been thinking about entering, this is your last chance to do so, as entries close Monday. Remember, rules for the UTCC are simple: Car and driver must just pass a NASA safety inspection. Period.
Here's a of few more of our latest entries gunning for the top spot:
Probably one of the most appropriately named owners on our list, Charlie Greenhaus, is bringing a fully electric ESVR. Will this electric racer's instant torque be enough to whiz by the competition?
Adam George will be taking on VIR in one of the fastest and most decked-out Camaros you can buy: the ZL1 1LE. Is its 530 horsepower and extra handling from the 1LE package what it takes to win?
View these cars, along with the rest of the field, on the UTCC website. Think you have what it takes to win? Register your car for the Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge here.
The Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge is presented by Tire Rack in association with Wilwood Disc Brakes, with trophies from BimmerWorld, Falken Tire, Hoosier Tire, SPA Technique, Aeromotive and Mach V Motorsports.

I'm only HPDE 3 in NASA Great Lakes.. hopefully by next year's event I may make it to HPDE 4 and pass tech.
Good luck to everyone making the event this year!
In reply to Stampie (FS) :
That's the goal with the LMP360. It may get an upgraded engine once it's done at the challenge to make it a bit more competitive. Though I guess the WRX currently planned for Brumpy could be $0d to donate the 2.0T...
