Malibuguy is all about the Toyota Tercel. This one is named Earl, and power comes from a DIY turbocharged setup–but its builder notes that turbo fab is his day job. “Hell, the flange was a chunk of steel I found on the ground next door, so I drilled it, tapped it and cut a hole out for the exhaust gases.”

Those old Tercels were under-appreciated appliances. I can understand usinng them as a foundation for a build.
